Terms of Service
Status: Draft
Effective date: August 30, 2026
Last updated: August 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Far Star Studio Ltd. (遠星工作室有限公司), a company incorporated in Taiwan (Republic of China) ("Far Star Studio", the "Company", "we", "us"). They govern your access to and use of Content Forger (the "Service"), available at this website. Content Forger is developed and operated by the Company's Far Star Labs team.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Content Forger is an AI-assisted content generation platform. It currently provides:
- Projects and project context — workspaces that hold your content and shared generation guidelines
- Visual workflows — configurable multi-step AI pipelines built on a canvas
- Single-step generation — direct text and image generation
- Entry sets — structured input data fed into workflows
- Assets — storage for files you upload and content you generate
Generation is performed through third-party AI providers (see Section 8). The Service currently generates text and images. Other formats may be added in the future; these Terms will be updated when the Service materially changes.
1.1 Early-access status
The Service is currently in an invite-only early-access (beta) phase. During this phase:
- Access is granted via invitation codes or our waitlist, at our discretion
- Features may change, be interrupted, or be removed without prior notice
- We may impose or adjust usage limits (including credit allocations) to keep the Service stable
- The Service is provided free of charge and as-is (see Section 11)
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You may register with an email address and password, or through Google or GitHub sign-in.
- Do not create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits or to evade enforcement actions.
- Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Credits
Use of AI generation consumes credits:
- Credits currently accrue to your workspace automatically at a daily rate, up to a cap. Current rates, caps, and the credit cost of each generation step are shown in the app.
- We may adjust accrual rates, caps, and per-step credit costs as models and provider pricing change. Material changes will be announced on the website or in the app.
- Credits have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferable between accounts.
- Credits obtained through fraud, automation, or multiple accounts may be revoked.
- Credits are currently free of charge; nothing in this section creates an obligation for us to continue providing free credits at any particular rate.
4. Paid Plans (Not Yet Available)
The Service currently offers no paid plans, subscriptions, or credit purchases.
If we introduce paid offerings in the future, we expect sales to be processed by a payment partner acting as merchant of record (currently planned: Paddle). In that case, the purchase, taxes, invoicing, refunds, and cancellation of paid plans will be governed by that partner's buyer terms and by applicable consumer protection law, and these Terms will be updated before paid plans launch. Nothing in these Terms currently obligates you to pay anything.
5. Your Content
"Your Content" means everything you submit to the Service: prompts, project context, entry set data, uploaded assets, and workflow configurations.
- You own Your Content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of it to us.
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service — including transmitting it to the AI providers you invoke (Section 8).
- You represent that you have the necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not violate Section 7 (Acceptable Use) or any third party's rights.
- We do not use Your Content to train AI models. We access our AI providers through their commercial APIs, which under their current policies do not use API content to train their models by default; see the Privacy Policy for the current provider list.
Please note: the Service stores the full inputs and outputs of each generation step as execution history so you can review past runs. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. AI-Generated Output
"Output" means content generated by the Service in response to Your Content.
- To the extent we receive rights in Output from our AI providers, we assign and/or license those rights to you, subject to these Terms and to the providers' own policies (Section 8). You may use Output commercially.
- AI systems have inherent limitations. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading; it may be similar or identical to output generated for other users from similar prompts; and it may not qualify for copyright or other IP protection in some jurisdictions.
- You are responsible for reviewing Output before relying on or publishing it, including verifying factual claims and checking that it does not infringe third-party rights.
- Where applicable law requires AI-generated content to be labeled or disclosed, you are responsible for that disclosure.
- We do not guarantee that any particular Output is fit for any particular purpose.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to create, upload, or distribute content, or engage in activity, that:
Content restrictions
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexualizes minors in any way — zero tolerance; we will report to relevant authorities
- Depicts identifiable real people in sexual or intimate imagery without their consent, or creates deceptive "deepfakes" of real people
- Infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or personality rights
- Harasses, threatens, defames, or promotes hatred or violence against any person or group
- Is designed to deceive — including fraud, phishing, impersonation, or coordinated disinformation
- Contains malware or instructions primarily useful for causing harm
Service integrity
- Probing, scanning, or breaching the Service's security or authentication measures
- Accessing other users' or teams' data
- Scraping, crawling, or bulk-extracting the Service other than through features we provide
- Circumventing credit limits, invite gating, or other usage controls (including via multiple accounts)
- Interfering with the Service's operation, including sending abusive request volumes
- Reselling or white-labeling the Service without our written consent
Provider policies
Your use of generation features must also comply with the usage policies of the AI providers that process your requests, currently OpenAI and fal.ai.
We do not systematically monitor or pre-screen Your Content or Output, but we may review content that is reported to us or flagged by our providers, and we may remove content or take enforcement action where these Terms are violated.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third-party providers, currently including:
| Provider | Role |
|---|---|
| OpenAI | Text generation |
| fal.ai | Image generation (including OpenAI-developed image models routed via fal.ai) |
| Supabase | Authentication and database |
| Cloudflare | File/asset storage |
| Railway | Application hosting |
We are not responsible for the availability of third-party providers. Model availability, behavior, and pricing may change based on our providers, and we may add, replace, or remove providers and models. The list of data-processing providers is maintained in the Privacy Policy.
9. Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination
- By you: you may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by emailing [email protected] (see Privacy Policy).
- By us: we may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, or revoke credits if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if required by law. For serious violations (including CSAM or attacks on the Service) we may act immediately and without notice, and may preserve and disclose relevant information to authorities as required by law.
- We may also discontinue the Service (or parts of it) during or after the beta phase; where practicable, we will give reasonable advance notice so you can export Your Content.
- If you believe an enforcement action was mistaken, contact [email protected]. We review appeals in good faith and aim to respond promptly.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Data portability and deletion requests are handled per the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OF OUTPUT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY — TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. THIS IS PARTICULARLY TRUE DURING THE BETA PHASE, WHERE DATA LOSS, DOWNTIME, AND FEATURE CHANGES MAY OCCUR. WE RECOMMEND KEEPING COPIES OF IMPORTANT CONTENT.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, while the Service is free, will be zero), or the minimum amount required by applicable law if that law does not permit such a limitation.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability arising from our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Indemnification
If a third party brings a claim against us arising from Your Content, your Output as used by you, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, you agree to indemnify us for reasonable damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) resulting from that claim, except to the extent caused by our own breach or fault.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes, we will post notice on the website (and/or in the app) a reasonable period before the changes take effect, and update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service and request account deletion.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties agree that the Taiwan district court for the location of the Company's registered seat shall be the court of first instance with jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.
If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, or of any right to bring proceedings in your local courts where such right cannot be waived by agreement.
16. General
- Language. These Terms are drafted in English, and the English version governs. Translations, if provided, are for reference only.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
