Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: November 9, 2026
Last updated: November 9, 2026
What changed (November 9, 2026): image prompts and generated images are now checked by an automated moderation service before generating and before saving (Section 4).
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what you may not do with Content Forger (the "Service"), operated by Far Star Studio Ltd. (遠星工作室有限公司) ("we", "us"). It is part of our Terms of Service. If this AUP and the Terms conflict, the Terms govern.
It applies to everything you put into the Service (prompts, project context, entry sets, uploaded files, workflows) and everything you generate with it ("Output").
1. Prohibited content
You may not use the Service to create, upload, edit, or distribute:
- Child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualizes minors. Zero tolerance: we remove it, close the account, and report it to the relevant authorities.
- Sexual or intimate content of a real, identifiable person without their consent, including "deepfake" nudity, face swaps onto sexual content, and editing a photo of a real person to make it sexual.
- Content that uses a real, identifiable person's face, voice, or likeness without their explicit consent. This includes:
- "deepfakes" and face swaps of real people;
- editing a photo of a real person (for example, one you upload as a reference image) to change what they appear to be doing or saying;
- putting a real person's face or likeness on another body.
- Impersonation: content that presents itself as created or endorsed by a real person, brand, or organization when it is not.
- Deceptive content: fraud, phishing, scams, fake reviews or testimonials, fabricated news, election or civic disinformation, and fake documents (IDs, certificates, receipts, official records).
- Hate, harassment, and violence: content that harasses, threatens, or bullies a person; promotes hatred against people based on a protected characteristic; or glorifies or incites violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or personality rights, including uploading images you do not have the right to use.
- Dangerous instructions: malware, or instructions mainly useful for weapons, serious crime, or causing harm.
- Anything else illegal where you or we operate.
2. Prohibited activities
You may not:
- try to get around the Service's or our AI providers' safety filters (for example, by rewording a blocked request until it passes);
- access other users' or teams' data, or probe or attack the Service's security;
- scrape the Service or extract it in bulk other than through features we provide;
- get around credit limits, invite gating, or other usage controls, including with multiple accounts;
- send abusive volumes of requests or otherwise interfere with the Service;
- resell or white-label the Service without our written consent.
3. Provider rules
- AI providers. Generation is performed by third-party AI providers, currently OpenAI (text) and fal.ai (images). Your use must also comply with their usage policies.
- Payment provider. Paid plans and credits are sold by our reseller Paddle (see the Terms of Service). You may not use the Service to make or sell content or products that break the rules of our payment provider, set out in Paddle's Acceptable Use Policy.
4. How we enforce this policy
- Safety filters. Image generation runs with our image providers' safety filters turned on, at strict settings where the model offers a setting. Images a provider flags as unsafe are not delivered to you or stored.
- Automated moderation. Before an image is generated, we send its full prompt (including any style, project context, and system prompt added to it) to OpenAI's moderation service, and before a generated image is saved, we send the image. If the service finds the prompt likely to break this AUP, nothing is generated and no credits are charged. If it finds the image likely to break this AUP, the image is not delivered to you or stored, as with a provider's safety filter. If the service is unavailable, the generation goes ahead with the providers' safety filters only.
- Filters are imperfect. These filters and checks are automated: they can miss content and can block harmless content. Passing them does not mean content is allowed under this AUP.
- No other monitoring. Apart from these automated checks, we do not monitor or pre-screen Your Content or Output. We may review content that is reported to us, flagged by our providers or by these checks, or connected to suspected abuse.
- Actions we may take. Depending on how serious the violation is: remove content, block a generation, suspend or terminate the account, revoke credits obtained by abuse, and, where the law requires or allows, report to and cooperate with authorities. For serious violations (including child sexual abuse material and attacks on the Service) we may act immediately and without notice.
- Payments. If you bought a plan or credits, our Refund Policy and your statutory consumer rights still apply. If we end your account for a serious violation — child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes minors, fraud, or attacking the Service — we do not refund unused paid credits. For other violations, we refund the share of each payment that matches the paid credits from it you have not used, counting a yearly plan's months that have not started yet as unused, and pay it as described in Section 7 of the Refund Policy.
5. Reporting
To report content or behavior that breaks this AUP, email [email protected] with the subject "AUP report", a description, and any links or identifiers that help us find it. To appeal an action we took on your account, email the same address. We review reports and appeals in good faith.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP as the Service and the law change. Material changes will be announced on the website or in the app, and the date above will be updated. The English version governs; translations, if provided, are for reference only.
