Refund Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
Last updated: October 26, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases on Content Forger, operated by Far Star Studio Ltd. (遠星工作室有限公司) ("we", "us"). It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Who you buy from
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Refunds are always paid by Paddle to your original payment method; we do not take or return payments ourselves.
2. 14-day refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of:
- your first payment for a subscription,
- each renewal payment of a subscription, or
- buying a credit pack.
If you have not used any credits from that payment, we refund it in full. If you have used some, we refund the share of the payment that matches the credits from that payment you have not used. For a yearly plan, the months that have not started yet count as unused (Section 3 explains when each month starts).
When a payment is refunded, the unused credits it added are removed from your workspace. Credits you already used are not taken back. A subscription payment refunded at your request under this Section or Section 3 also ends the subscription straight away.
After 14 days, payments are not refundable, except as described in Sections 3, 5, and 6.
3. Yearly plans after 14 days
A yearly plan is paid once a year, and its credits are added to your workspace month by month. The first month starts when the paid year starts (for a new plan, when you pay). Each later month starts on the same day and time of the following calendar months, or on the last day of a month that has no such day (for example, a year that starts on January 31 has months starting on February 28 or 29, March 31, April 30, and so on). Times are counted in UTC. A month counts as started from its start date, even if you have not used the Service since.
If more than 14 days have passed since the yearly payment, you can still ask for a refund of the months that have not started yet. We refund that share of the yearly payment (for example, 4 months not started yet means 4/12 of the payment) and the subscription ends straight away. Credits from months that have already started stay usable until they expire.
If you only cancel (Section 4) and do not ask for a refund, the remaining months' credits keep being added as paid for.
4. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling on its own does not refund anything — to get a refund, ask for one as described in Section 8.
Credits already added to your workspace stay usable until they expire, one year after they were added, even after your subscription ends.
5. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, or UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from your purchase. When you check out, you ask us to make the Service and your credits available straight away. If you withdraw within the 14 days, we refund the payment less the value of the credits from it that you have already used, as described in Section 2.
6. Other cases
We will also refund, in full or in part, where:
- you were charged twice or charged by mistake;
- a technical problem on our side stopped you from using what you paid for, and we could not fix it within a reasonable time;
- we end your account for a breach of our Acceptable Use Policy that is not a serious violation (Section 10). We refund the share of each payment that matches the paid credits from it you have not used, counting a yearly plan's months that have not started yet (Section 3) as unused, and pay it as described in Section 7; or
- the law requires it.
A refund for a double or mistaken charge, or for a technical problem, does not end your subscription.
Paddle may also decide to refund a purchase under its own Refund Policy.
If you dispute a payment with your bank or card provider (a chargeback), we treat it as a full refund of that payment: the unused credits it added, including a yearly plan's months that have not started yet, are removed from your workspace, and a subscription it paid for ends straight away.
7. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the payment method you used. How long they take to reach you depends on your bank or payment provider.
Payment methods limit how long after a payment it can be refunded. At the time of writing, Paddle can refund a card payment for about 120 days and a PayPal payment for about 179 days after the payment. If a refund you are owed under this policy can no longer go back to your original payment method, we will tell you and work with Paddle to arrange another way to pay it where Paddle can. If no refund method is available, your plan stays active and any remaining months' credits keep being added as paid for.
8. How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] from the email address you used at checkout, with your order number (in Paddle's receipt email) and the reason. You can also contact Paddle at paddle.net. We reply within 5 business days.
9. Failed or blocked generations
Credits spent on a generation that fails are returned to your workspace automatically. If an image is blocked by a safety filter, part of its credits may be kept, as shown in the app. These are credit adjustments, not money refunds.
10. Abuse and serious violations
We may refuse a refund where there is clear evidence of abuse, such as repeatedly buying, using, and refunding credits.
If we end your account for a serious violation of our Acceptable Use Policy — child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes minors, fraud, or attacking the Service — we do not refund unused paid credits.
Neither of these limits a refund the law gives you a right to.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes do not affect purchases made before the change. The English version governs; translations, if provided, are for reference only.
