Cookie Policy
Status: Draft
Effective date: August 30, 2026
Last updated: August 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Far Star Studio Ltd. (遠星工作室有限公司) uses cookies and similar technologies on Content Forger. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
The short version: we use only the cookies needed to sign you in and remember your preferences. We use no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, so we do not show a cookie consent banner.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site recognize your browser across page loads and visits — for example, to keep you signed in. Similar technologies include browser local storage, which stores data in your browser without sending it to the server on every request.
2. Cookies We Set
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-<project>-auth-token (may be split into numbered parts, e.g. .0, .1) | Keeps you signed in. Set by our authentication provider (Supabase) when you log in. | Essential (first-party) | Up to about 1 year, refreshed as you use the Service |
sb-<project>-auth-token-code-verifier (may be split into numbered parts) | Temporarily holds a security value (a PKCE code verifier) while a sign-in is in progress, so the login callback can be verified. | Essential (first-party) | Only during the sign-in flow; removed once sign-in completes |
language-preference | Remembers the display language you choose with the language switcher. | Functional (first-party) | 1 year |
These are all the cookies the Service currently sets. If this changes, we will update this policy (see Section 7).
- Essential cookies are required for the Service to work — without the authentication cookies you cannot sign in or stay signed in.
- The language cookie is set when you actively choose a language, and only stores that choice.
3. Local Storage
We use browser local storage for one item:
| Key | Purpose |
|---|---|
theme | Remembers your light/dark theme preference. Stored only in your browser; not sent to our servers. |
4. What We Don't Use
- No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics or similar)
- No advertising or marketing cookies
- No third-party tracking cookies
- No email tracking pixels (our only emails are transactional account emails)
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
Because we only use essential and functional storage, no consent banner is currently required. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example, analytics), we will update this policy first and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting them.
5. Third-Party Requests
Some requests from your browser go directly to our infrastructure providers — for example, uploading or viewing files stored with our storage provider (Cloudflare). These providers see standard technical data such as your IP address when serving those requests (see the Privacy Policy), but they do not set tracking cookies on our site.
6. Managing Cookies
You can view, delete, and block cookies in your browser settings (look for "Cookies and site data" in your browser's privacy settings). Note that:
- Deleting the authentication cookie signs you out.
- Blocking cookies entirely will prevent you from signing in to the Service.
- Deleting the language cookie or
themelocal-storage entry simply resets those preferences.
7. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy if our use of cookies changes (for example, when payment processing or analytics are introduced) and update the date at the top. The English version governs; translations, if provided, are for reference only.
